Job summary

Pregis LLC in Illinois is seeking an HR Coordinator to manage the daily HR operations at the Elgin and Aurora plants, handling onboarding, employee records, benefits coordination, and compliance tracking as the main contact for personnel questions.

You will support onboarding and offboarding, maintain HRIS records, assist with open enrollment and payroll-related tasks, answer policy questions, and prepare basic workforce reports under the HR Manager.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of related human resources experience.
• HRIS experience (Workday, BambooHR, Rippling or Ceridian Dayforce) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding & Offboarding: prepare offer letters, orientations, tax forms, and exit paperwork.
• Records & HRIS Management: update personnel files and submit status changes to payroll.
• Benefits Administration: assist with open enrollment and vendor questions; support benefits/payroll tasks.
• Employee Support: serve as first point of contact for policy questions and routine requests.
• Compliance & Reporting: track training, audits, and basic workforce reports.
• Assist with performance review materials and training materials for staff.
