About The Opportunity

We seek a People Operations Business Partner (POBP) to support our network of practices across multiple states. The role involves working closely with leadership and local teams to foster engagement, ensure compliance, and support organizational culture. Candidates should be based in or willing to relocate to Columbus, Ohio, with two to three days onsite weekly.

The POBP will serve as a strategic partner, working with executive leadership, clinical teams, and local brand leaders to drive initiatives that promote engagement, compliance, and organizational excellence. Success requires a confident, professional, and agile working style aligned with our core values: accountability, responsiveness, solution orientation, collaboration, and empathy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and drive people-first solutions supporting growth and operational success.
  2. Talent Management & Organizational Development: Support performance management, employee development, and succession planning to foster accountability and engagement.
  3. Employee Relations: Provide guidance on employee relations issues with empathy and solutions focus; assist in conflict resolution and culture initiatives.
  4. Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure adherence to employment laws, especially Ohio and California, and maintain policies aligned with best practices.
  5. Change Management & Integration: Lead change initiatives during acquisitions and support seamless integration of new practices.
  6. Training & Development: Coordinate training programs and promote continuous learning.
  7. Data-Driven HR Insights: Analyze key HR metrics and provide strategic insights to leadership.
  8. Leave & Benefits Administration: Manage leave programs and support employee benefits education.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field, or 5+ years relevant experience.
  • HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
  • Values aligned with accountability, responsiveness, solutions orientation, collaboration, and empathy.
  • Experience in multi-location, healthcare, or service environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, especially in multi-state contexts.
  • Experience with M&A HR activities and HRIS platforms like Paycor, Workday.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, communication, and organizational skills.
