Job summary

Work World in Fairfield, CA is seeking a part-time Retail Team Member to deliver friendly, helpful service while supporting store goals.

You’ll handle product questions, assist customers in person and over the phone, process transactions, stock shelves, and maintain accurate pricing. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1–2 years retail exposure, and availability for evenings and weekends; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication, customer service, and basic math skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain a professional appearance.
• Sales experience and bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with helpful information about store products and services.
• Assist customers with questions and requests both in person and over the phone.
• Welcome and support customers with friendly and professional service.
• Help maintain stock levels and replenish merchandise as needed.
• Process sales transactions accurately, including payments and receipt distribution.
• Label merchandise and ensure pricing is displayed correctly.
• Support the team in achieving daily sales objectives.
