Job summary

Work World is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate in Vacaville, CA. You’ll demonstrate knowledge of products, assist customers in-store and over the phone, and help maintain stock while achieving daily sales goals.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of retail customer service, a high school diploma or GED, and excellent communication skills. The role may require nights and weekends, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail customer service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or general degree (GED) - required.
• Willing to work nights and weekends.
• Excellent verbal communication.
• Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service.
• Basic math skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Demonstrated sales skills and experience.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
• Bi-Lingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers.
• Assist customers with request in store and over the phone.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and polite manner.
• Always maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
• Complete customers transactions at the cash register including taking payments, and issuing receipts.
• Tag prices and merchandise.
• Contribute to team’s daily sales goal.
