Job summary

Carter's, Inc. in Paramus, New Jersey seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead a welcoming team, uphold store standards, and drive a customer-focused sales floor. You will mentor staff and help deliver exceptional service across baby and children’s apparel lines.

You will analyze KPIs with the team, participate in recruiting and training, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment that grows our family brand presence at Carter’s.

Qualifications

1 year retail or related management experience.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features and benefits.
Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
Coach others to meet service standards and KPIs.
Assist Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store team.
Plan, track, and report completion of tasks and financial results using company tools.
Partner with Store Manager on merchandising standards and promotional planning.
