Seasons Corner Market in Canton, MA is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations and coach a team in a fast-paced retail setting. You will work with the Store Manager to deliver outstanding service, maintain standards, and drive sales while creating a positive work environment for staff and guests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.
• Retail, customer service or cash-handling experience preferred.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Able to accommodate Store Manager's schedule and travel for openings (3–6 weeks).
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service by creating a friendly, welcoming experience for every guest.
• Supervise and support employees during daily operations while promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Assist the Store Manager with execution of daily business operations and store performance goals.
• Process customer purchases accurately using the POS system and company cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain merchandising standards through stocking, inventory management, product rotation, and store presentation.
• Keep the sales floor, restrooms, parking areas, and exterior grounds clean and safe in all weather conditions.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching new team members.
• Encourage sales growth through product knowledge, promotions, and suggestive selling techniques.
• Follow and enforce company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Complete required reports, operational paperwork, and administrative tasks on schedule.
• Assist with employee scheduling, shift coverage, and daily workflow coordination.
• Support store remodels, grand openings, transition teams, and other company initiatives as assigned.
