Job summary

Solera Senior Living in Chicago, IL is seeking an HR Business Partner to serve as the on-the-ground people leader for multiple communities. This matrixed role partners with the People Strategy and People Operations teams, guiding talent management, employee relations, and leadership development to align with Solera’s People First approach.

You will collaborate with Executive Directors to drive performance, retention, and culture initiatives, while ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive HR experience; multi-site or regional HR business partnering strongly preferred
• Experience with employee relations, including investigations and performance management
• Ability to build trust with operational leaders and handle sensitive matters with discretion
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment law (multi-state experience a plus)
• Turn data into insight using HR reporting and analytics

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor and coach to Executive Directors and department leaders on performance, team dynamics, and organizational decisions
• Lead employee relations investigations and advise on performance management
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to drive hiring and onboarding for multiple communities
