Job summary

The Delaney at The Vale in Massachusetts seeks an experienced Business Office Director to lead human resources and key business office functions, including accounts payable, payroll, budgeting, and compliance. You will also supervise the Concierge team to deliver hospitality-driven service to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience.
• Basic understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as HR partner and advisor to leaders and team members.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding top talent.
• Create engaging onboarding experiences for new hires.
• Drive employee engagement, recognition, retention, and culture-building initiatives.
• Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and development.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and HR best practices.
• Manage employee records and HRIS updates, including status changes and documents.
• Administer benefits, leave programs, workers' compensation, and lifecycle processes.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and staffing strategies.
• Analyze and report on HR metrics including turnover, retention, recruiting, and engagement trends.
