Worthington Enterprises is seeking an HR Generalist to support our Chilton, Wisconsin manufacturing facility. This role partners closely with the onsite HR team to provide day-to-day HR support for a 24/5 operation while helping foster a positive, approachable, and employee-focused workplace culture.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and passionate about building trusting relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.

Formación

• 1-3 years of HR, payroll, benefits, or related people-support experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of HR practices and employment laws, with willingness to learn.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and follow-through skills.
• Comfortable working independently and partnering with employees at all levels.
• Manufacturing or multi-shift environment experience preferred, not required.
• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus, not required.
• 100% onsite in a manufacturing facility environment.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and provide regular HR presence across shifts in a 24/5 operation.

Responsabilidades

• Support employees and managers with HR-related questions, concerns, and guidance.
• Administer employee benefits, onboarding, open enrollment, leave processes, and exit procedures.
• Review bi-weekly payroll for accuracy and consistency.
• Support recruiting efforts including candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Assist with employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
• Coordinate and facilitate HR training programs including OSHA, harassment prevention, and policy education.
• Process HR and payroll changes, including job changes, compensation updates, and profit-sharing administration.
• Partner with managers to identify workforce development and training needs.
• Assist with safety, workers’ compensation, and incident documentation processes.
• Coordinate employee engagement and recognition activities.
• Maintain compliance with HR laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Provide HR presence and support across all shifts as needed.
