Qualifications

• At least 2 years of store or assistant store manager experience.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, motivate, and communicate positively to store associates at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, give direction and follow through to completion.
• Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment.
• Maintain high quality of customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead company best practices to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Analyze store reports to evaluate controllable expenses and overall performance.
• Communicate variances to the Store Manager.
• Ensure proper scheduling of associates to meet business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.
• Oversee payroll administration and scheduling processes.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing non-exempt associates.
• Assist with associate relations issues and communication to leadership.
• Manage store expenses within budget and control payroll hours.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment with monthly safety meetings.
• Coach staff to provide courteous, professional customer service.
• Maintain store branding, cleanliness, and merchandising standards.
• Oversee merchandise processing, markdowns, and in-store marketing.
• Support loss prevention efforts and annual inventory processes.
• Direct supervision of all non-exempt associates.
