Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a People Business Partner to align business objectives with employees and management across designated units. This hybrid role, based at our Richland Parish client site, 3–4 days per week, includes on-site perks such as complimentary breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

You will lead employee relations investigations, coach leaders through disciplinary actions, and ensure policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing complex employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Proven experience supporting a California-based employer with strong working knowledge of CA employment law.
• Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on ER experience in fast-paced environments.
• Deep understanding of employment law, risk management, and compliance.
• Ability to navigate sensitive situations with discretion and empathy.
• Strong communication skills for investigation findings and documentation.
• Analytical mindset with a business-oriented approach.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority cases and meet deadlines.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred or obtainable within one year.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary ER contact for complex and high-risk cases, including investigations and terminations.
• Lead impartial workplace investigations with documentation review and witness interviews.
• Coach managers through corrective actions, discipline, and termination processes.
• Provide real-time risk-based guidance to leaders to ensure compliance and minimize exposure.
• Ensure consistent application of policies and employment laws.
• Advise on performance management cases, including PIPs and warnings.
• Manage sensitive issues such as harassment, discrimination, and leave-related matters.
• Escalate with legal counsel on high-risk matters.
• Track ER trends and produce defensible documentation.
