Seal- in Syracuse, NY is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to manage daily HR activities and partner with leadership to support a healthy workplace culture. You will oversee onboarding, payroll, benefits, and employee relations, ensuring policy compliance and timely HR processes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and 3+ years in manufacturing HR, with strong communication, confidentiality, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of employment laws at federal, state, and local levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a site HR partner to administer and support HR programs including onboarding, benefits, leave management, performance management, and employee relations
• Participate in interviews and assist in hiring qualified candidates
• Support onboarding process and set employees up for success
• Assist leadership in resolving employee concerns; escalate to HR Manager as appropriate
• Maintain employee records in the HRIS with timely updates
• Monitor time and attendance and ensure policy compliance
• Prepare and process weekly payroll and compile reporting
• Respond to inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll
• Design and deliver training programs for compliance and growth
• Oversee performance reviews and ensure timely completion
• Document training compliance
• Support wellness initiatives; enforce safety policies
• Maintain confidentiality and build trust
• Ensure adherence to employment laws
