Job summary

Great Places Housing Group is seeking a part-time People Development Administrator to provide essential support to the team, helping colleagues access learning opportunities and maintain learning records and systems with accuracy.

You will manage learning activities administration, bookings, venues, LMS usage, and purchase orders, delivering friendly customer service while upholding data quality in a busy housing association learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in administrative, business support or customer service roles.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Experience using learning management systems or similar digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day administration of learning activities across Great Places.
  • Manage the People Development mailbox and respond to queries.
  • Assist with booking training sessions, venues and Teams meetings, and issue joining instructions.
  • Arrange external courses, conferences and learning events.
  • Maintain accurate learning records and attendance in systems.
  • Provide learning-related assistance and access to resources; support invoicing and PO processing.

Job description

People Development Administrator

You will provide administrative support across the People Development team, helping colleagues access learning opportunities and ensuring learning records, systems and processes are maintained accurately.

Working Monday to Friday / 15 hours per week.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the People Development team during a period of change and development, providing essential support within a busy and evolving service.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Support the day-to-day administration of learning activities across Great Places.
  • Help manage the People Development mailbox, responding to queries and directing requests appropriately.
  • Support the administration of learning activities, including booking training sessions, arranging venues and Teams meetings, and issuing joining instructions.
  • Support the booking of external courses, conferences and learning events.
  • Maintain accurate learning records and attendance information across learning systems.
  • Support colleagues with learning-related queries and access to eLearning and other learning resources.
  • Raise purchase orders and support the processing of invoices and payments relating to learning activity.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service and identify opportunities to improve administrative processes.
What You'll Need
  • Experience working in an administration, business support or customer service role.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and digital systems.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage your workload, prioritise tasks and work independently when required.
  • A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering a positive experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work accurately and reliably with minimal supervision.
  • A positive and flexible approach to supporting colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Experience of supporting learning, training, HR or people-related activities.
  • Experience using a learning management system or similar digital platform.
  • Relevant administration, customer service or business support training, qualifications or experience.
