The People Delivery Partner will play a pivotal role in the operational People function, reporting directly to the Head of People - Operational Performance. This role will be central to aligning people strategies with business objectives, promoting a performance-driven culture, and aiding organizational growth and transformation initiatives. The People Delivery Partner will collaborate closely with business leaders to facilitate the delivery of people-related strategies, lead and manage key projects, provide data-led insights, and ensure the People function actively contributes to the company's success and growth.
This is an agile role working across operations, growth, and change based on business priorities. Salary Range - £57,000 to £67,000.
Partnering
- Work with key stakeholders to educate them on leading teams and using the People team centres of excellence model to drive strong sponsorship with the business.
- Understand Maximus' operational business model and develop a unified approach to delivering People initiatives aligned with business requirements.
- Act as a true partner, translating people strategies with company goals, creating a roadmap of people priorities, and driving key processes like talent management and performance management.
- Deliver regular updates on key people metrics with insights to focus on areas like retention, attendance, and workforce planning, feeding trends back to the People centres of excellence.
Talent Management & Succession Planning
- Lead the talent and succession process, ensuring a robust and consistent approach, and share key outputs with T&D and Resourcing teams.
- Develop a clear capability profile, address gaps, and foster a pipeline of future leaders.
- Apply a diverse lens to pools to ensure inclusivity.
- Develop strategies to improve retention, especially within the first 12 months.
- Partner with Wellbeing to improve attendance strategies.
Engagement
- Nurture a positive and inclusive working environment and support engagement initiatives.
- Promote Maximus values.
Performance Management
- Manage performance review cycles and promote compliance training.
- Support feedback processes and coach managers on performance reviews.
- Develop and implement standardized objectives.
Project Leadership & Execution
- Lead or support key projects within the people function or wider organizational projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project delivery within scope and impact.
- Establish milestones and metrics, ensuring agility and growth considerations.
Change Management
- Support organizational change initiatives and foster continuous improvement.
- Integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies into HR initiatives.
- Lead internal change processes, manage consultations, and support TUPE processes.
Growth
- Support bid activity, due diligence, TUPE, and mobilization activities.
Data-led Insights & Technological Enablement
- Provide data insights to improve people metrics.
- Ensure activities leverage available tools and platforms for self-service and effective management.

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven HR or People Business Partner experience
- Ability to collaborate with senior leaders and influence decisions
- Experience using data for decision-making

- Knowledge of talent management, succession planning, performance management
- Familiarity with HR technology and data analytics
