Job description

People Data & Analytics Specialist supports HR data analytics, reporting, and dashboard development, with a primary focus on Workday and related HR systems. This role partners with HR and business stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable people insights that support data‑driven decision‑making while ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance Workday reports and dashboards using Report Writer, Advanced Reporting, and related tools.
• Support recurring HR reporting, metrics, and dashboards across HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and HR Business Partners.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends, data quality issues, and actionable insights.
• Manage ad hoc reporting requests for leadership, audits, and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with HR teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Monitor data integrity across HR systems and recommend process improvements.
• Support federal, state, and internal compliance reporting requirements.
• Maintain reporting documentation, standard operating procedures, and job aids.
• Handle sensitive employee data with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience with Workday reporting, dashboards, or HR analytics.
• Experience with HR systems and analytics tools such as Qlik, Tableau, Quantum Workplace, MAXQDA, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting HR, People Analytics, or Talent-related functions.
• Workday Reporting or Pro Certification (or progress toward certification) preferred.
• Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience is a plus.
