Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA seeks a People and Culture Intern to gain hands-on experience in HR operations and the employee lifecycle. You will collaborate with Total Rewards, TA, Payroll, EH&S, IT, Facilities, and Legal to support daily operations.

You must be enrolled in a BA/BS/MA/PhD program in Business Administration, HR, Management, or related field with at least one semester remaining, and maintain a 3.0+ GPA.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate program in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management or related field and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of corporate function experience within the areas of Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a mentor and department colleagues to apply knowledge and grow skills.
• Support engineering and industry concepts to solve real HR challenges.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success and learning.

Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)

Education

Enrolled in BA/BS/MA/PhD in Business Administration, HR, Management or related field
