Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking a People and Culture Intern to join our Long Beach, CA team for a hands-on experience in HR operations and employee lifecycle support. You will work closely with mentors and cross-functional colleagues to develop professional and technical skills.

This full-time on-site internship requires a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks starting January–March 2027, offers an hourly pay of $25, and includes a comprehensive benefits package and relocation stipend where eligible.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral program in Business Administration, HR, Management or related field with at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of corporate function experience within HR.

Responsibilities

• Work with your mentor to apply knowledge and grow skills technically and professionally.
• Collaborate with a fast-paced group to apply HR concepts to real challenges.
• Attend regular 1:1s with mentors to facilitate success and learning.
• Network with interns and employees through events.
