Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Human Relations Generalist (HRG) to support bakery leadership and hourly associates across three shifts. This role requires strong HR expertise, labor relations skills, and the ability to guide workforce planning, talent development, and employee relations.

The HRG will partner with plant managers and center of excellence teams to drive organizational effectiveness, manage headcount and onboarding, and lead training programs while ensuring compliant HR practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business or related field preferred.
• 3+ years progressive human resource generalist experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Labor relations experience is highly desired.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to provide strategic HR guidance, workforce planning, talent development, employee relations support, and organizational effectiveness solutions.
• HRG is responsible for HR functions in multiple plants or locations.
• Act as a Change Agent and a Business Partner to Plant Managers; own initiatives for HR functions in plants.
• Assist in managing headcount, turnover, exit interviews, and HR invoice processing; maintain current job descriptions.
• Conduct new associate orientation sessions and other HR-related training programs.
• Administering Benefits Open Enrollment, Safety Perception surveys, Pulse surveys, and respond to HR inquiries.
• Assist with associate relations programs and rewards/recognition implementation.
• Coordinate centralized recruiting and onboarding for salaried and hourly positions.
• Drive talent management processes, including profiles, goals, development plans, and performance reviews.
