Job summary

Sacramento Native American Health Center is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support HR services throughout the employee life cycle and partner with leadership to foster a positive, compliant workplace.

The role covers employee relations, leaves, benefits, workers' compensation, policy development, and payroll coordination in collaboration with Finance; travel to other SNAHC locations may be required. 5+ years HR experience and PHR/SHRM-CP preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in the Human Resources field, with working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality HR services to management and employees across the employee life cycle.
• Manage employee relations, performance management, and investigations to promote a positive environment.
• Assist with HRIS data, records, reports, and benefits and payroll coordination in collaboration with Finance.
• Develop, communicate, and update HR policies; support training and policy implementation.
• Contribute to special projects, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
