Job summary

Ernst & Young seeks a Summer 2027 Intern in the People Consulting practice. You will assess client challenges, benchmark against competitors, and guide transformations with data-driven insights.

The role emphasizes in-person collaboration at EY offices or client sites, with travel as needed. Ideal candidates are pursuing an undergrad or master's in HR or related fields, demonstrate collaborative problem-solving, and have a strong interest in technology and consulting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or master's in HR, human capital, labor relations, organizational design, business, industrial and organizational psychology, communications, economics or finance.
• Interest in consulting demonstrated by coursework or interest.
• In-person work at client site or EY office, ~3 days/week depending on engagement.
• Must have access to reliable transportation; driver's license recommended.
• Willing to travel and work flexible hours as needed; security clearance may be required for Government & Public Sector track.

Responsibilities

• Assess complex client challenges and benchmark against competitors.
• Advise on leading practices and guide clients through implementations and transformations.
• Help engagement leaders gather and analyze data, identify risks, and support project management.
• Collaborate with analysts, partners, interns and client executives to deliver a better working world.
