Job summary

ThredUp is seeking a People Business Partner for our DC02 operations center in Mechanicsburg, PA. You will partner with leaders and 300+ team members, advising on programs, performance, and employee relations while balancing business needs with people strategy.

You will coach hourly staff and first-level leaders, lead a small HR team, and drive retention, development, and safety compliance in a high-volume, seven-day operation. This role reports to the VP, People, Operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR business partner experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with credibility across all levels.
• Experience coaching hourly employees and first-level leaders.
• Ability to navigate sensitive situations with fairness and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Advise and coach leaders on People programs, policies, performance, and employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent application.
• Build credibility with the DC02 team by spending time on the floor and turning feedback into action.
• Drive retention, engagement, leadership development, and talent planning.
• Lead the DC02 People Team and set priorities for high-quality support.
• Identify people-related challenges and develop effective solutions with business partners.
• Support compliance, workers’ compensation matters, and safety requirements.
