The People Associate supports Talent Acquisition by executing hiring strategies, managing recruiting workflows, and ensuring an efficient and consistent candidate experience. This role is responsible for identifying and engaging candidates, screening for selection, coordinating interviews, and supporting initiatives such as the employee referral program and structured interviewing process. The People Associate builds strong relationships with hiring managers, providing top-tier support and responsiveness to business needs.
In addition to sourcing responsibilities, this role will manage job postings across platforms, track and monitor candidate pipelines, and maintain accurate data within the applicant tracking system (ATS). The People Associate partners closely with hiring managers to support the end-to-end recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, facilitating communication, and ensuring timely movement of candidates through each stage.
This role also contributes to building and maintaining a strong talent pipeline by proactively sourcing candidates, supporting workforce planning efforts, and identifying process improvements to enhance Talent Acquisition efficiency and scalability. This role typically manages a workload of 20–30 requisitions, with flexibility based on business needs and hiring demand.
The People Associate will also support broader People Team initiatives and projects, taking on additional responsibilities as needed within the People function to meet evolving business priorities.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting & Candidate Management
- Post and monitor job listings, track candidates, and respond to inquiries.
- Review resumes and online portfolios to assess candidate qualifications.
- Conduct candidate screenings and coordinate interview processes.
- Schedule and facilitate interviews in partnership with hiring teams.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates and internal stakeholders, providing updates on status and process.
- Manage candidate progression through the hiring funnel and develop shortlists.
- Support achievement of time-to-fill goals (30–45 days).
- Dispositioning
- Disposition candidates in a timely fashion.
- Close requisitions upon completion.
- Identify and retain strong candidates for future opportunities.
- Pipeline Development
- Source and engage qualified, diverse candidates through job boards, social platforms, referrals, and networking.
- Proactively identify and outreach to passive candidates.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Re-engage past applicants and former employees for new opportunities.
- Promote the company brand to attract top talent.
- Talent Acquisition Operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within the ATS.
- Stay current on ATS functionality, enhancements, and best practices to optimize recruiting workflows.
- Track and update recruiting metrics and reporting; maintain and publish Position Report.
- Support and train hiring managers on recruiting processes and expectations.
- Administer and reinforce structured interview practices.
- Maintain internal recruiting reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- People Team Support
- Support cross-functional People Team initiatives, including process improvement, acquisitions, and special projects.
- Assist with documentation, change management, and reporting.
- Provide administrative and operational support to ensure smooth execution of People Team priorities.
Qualifications

- Experience and Education
- Previous corporate or agency recruiting experience and/or minimum 3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
- Superior interpersonal and networking skills.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse.
- Familiarity with effective sourcing techniques and recruitment platforms, such as LinkedIn.
- Understanding of employment law and its application to the hiring process.
- Ability to multitask and handle various positions simultaneously.
- Ability to write business and recruiting emails.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- A keen eye for details.
- Bachelor's in HR Management or equivalent preferred.
The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary/rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, years of service, specialty, education, relevant experience). Bonus eligible.
Pay Range: $85,000 USD - $100,000 USD
