Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Sr Consultant, People Data Scientist to advance People Analytics and shape strategy, roadmaps, and service offerings. You will develop sophisticated analytic solutions, manage data infrastructure, and deliver automated insights to drive talent decisions.

You will collaborate across HR and enterprise analytics teams, translate complex findings into actionable recommendations, and mentor others to elevate analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate studies in statistics, engineering, math, data analytics, or related areas.
• Experience: 10+ years of statistical analytics and modeling with HR data.
• Knowledge of Workday or similar HRIS and data analytics tools; ability to translate data into business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives and drives strategic analytics solutions that optimize business decisions.
• Help develop and deliver the People Analytics strategy.
• Provide expert consultation to HR executives and partners on advanced analytics.
• Build and maintain relationships with HR leaders to drive initiatives.
• Develop and tests hypotheses on trends and drivers of associate behavior and performance.
• Present data insights and visuals to HR and leadership.
