Job summary

MITRE is seeking an HR Data Scientist to develop analytics driving workforce decisions. You will design data pipelines, harmonize HR data across systems, and build reproducible models for diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.

You will partner with HR, IT, and leadership to translate questions into analytical solutions. Required: 8+ years in data science with Python/SQL and experience with Workday HCM data, ETL/ELT pipelines, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a quantitative field with extensive data science experience.
• Experience developing, validating, and deploying statistical and predictive models using Python and SQL.
• Experience preparing, integrating, and transforming complex datasets with ETL/ELT pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop statistical analyses and advanced analytical models for workforce analytics.
• Create reusable datasets, features, and models for scalable self-service analytics.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance and leaders to frame questions into analytical approaches.
• Use Python, SQL and modern data science techniques to investigate workforce challenges.
• Validate models and communicate assumptions, limitations, and results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data engineering to improve data architecture and governance.
