Job summary

Minnesota Wild is seeking a People Analyst to own and optimize HR systems, enforce compliance, and support employees across the organization. The role administers benefits, maintains records, and delivers HR services with a high level of responsiveness.

You will collaborate with the HR team to drive data-driven insights and improvements for the people function. The ideal candidate has HR administration experience, knowledge of labor laws, and proficiency in HR software (Dayforce preferred) along

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience as an HR Administrator or similar role.
  • Experience with HR software (Dayforce preferred).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Knowledge of labor laws.
  • Experience handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize HR systems, processes, and compliance.
  • Act as the HRIS system owner, ensuring the platform is optimized for HR operations.
  • Set up and manage open enrollment in the HRIS.
  • Lead implementation of new modules in the current HRIS system.
  • Create and manage reporting for HR and organizational health metrics.
  • Organize and maintain accurate digital employee records.
  • Own all compliance-related reporting for federal and state requirements.
  • Provide HR support and deliver high service levels to employees.
  • Partner with HR team to deliver high level of service internally.
  • Administer internal benefit programs.
  • Prepare HR documents to support the team.
  • Track affirmative action data and workers’ compensation cases.
  • Executive Support
  • Provide executive HR dashboards and reporting.
  • Provide administrative support to the VP and Director of People.
  • Participate in HR projects.
  • Administer employee surveys to gather feedback and support engagement efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

People Analyst - $60,000 - $100,000 annually
Position Summary:

The People Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining and optimizing core HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance with federal and state requirements. This role also provides essential support to employees across the organization by administering benefits, managing employee records, and supporting key HR processes and the department head. By combining technical expertise with a high level of service, the Analyst helps create a seamless employee experience and supports the overall health of the organization.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
  • Own and optimize Human Resources systems, processes, and compliance.
  • Act as the HRIS system owner, ensuring the platform is optimized for Human Resources operations.

Position Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience:
  • Experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant, or other relevant role.
  • Experience with HR software: Dayforce preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of labor laws.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Work Conditions:
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed for games and events.
  • Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
