Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a People Advisor to join the People Services team on a 2 year fixed-term contract. The role supports managers and colleagues with HR casework, policy guidance, and performance management within a hybrid working pattern.

You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality HR service, while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and safeguarding requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR advisory and managing people-related casework.
• Good understanding of employment legislation and people management best practice.
• Strong ability to gather information, assess situations and recommend outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of employee relations matters and provide expert advice to managers and colleagues.
• Support performance management processes, including development plans and data usage.
• Lead on attendance management, including absence monitoring and return-to-work meetings.
• Provide guidance on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation.
• Build relationships with managers and stakeholders to deliver a consistent HR service.
• Support recruitment, retention, talent development and apprenticeship programmes.
