Job summary

Paychex is hiring for a Sales role focused on selling PEO products and services by expanding the client base and increasing profitability within the PEO Sales organization. You will work under supervision, leverage market strategies, and travel as needed to secure referrals and new clients.

The role emphasizes building relationships, onboarding clients smoothly, and maintaining accurate reports while contributing to overall sales growth. Full-time role based in the Knoxville region.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in relevant sales/sales management.
• 2 years of experience in relevant sales/sales management.
• HS Diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of Sales management within defined quota.
• Leverage the Go-to-Market Strategy to identify needs and present Paychex solutions to stakeholders and decision makers.
• Schedule appointments and visit referrals to secure leads.
• Prospect new clients and referral sources via phone, mail, seminars and events.
• Analyze prospects’ needs and determine appropriate products, referring to the right sales partner.
• Complete and submit accurate new business paperwork and weekly activity reports on schedule.
• Onboard PEO clients and ensure a smooth transition onto the PEO service.
• Project a positive image to clients and the community to create sales opportunities.
• Attend partner meetings to educate on PEO services and processes.
• Develop technical, competitive and sales skills to represent Paychex effectively.
• Travel outside territory for conferences or trainings.
