Job summary

SAIC is seeking a motivated VDI Support Specialist to provide on-site technical support at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. You will manage Citrix Virtual Desktops and Omnissa Horizon 8, troubleshoot access and performance, and handle incidents via ServiceNow.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in enterprise IT and hold a DoD TS/SCI clearance with IAT certifications. The role requires on-site work five days a week in a mission-focused environment within DoD operations.

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in enterprise IT, VDI or service desk operations.
Experience with Citrix Virtual Desktops or Omnissa Horizon 8 in production.
Proficient with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and Teams in enterprise environments.
On-site work five days a week during day shifts; active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
DoD 8570-M/DoD 8140 IAT Level II certs required; Level III desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site support for Citrix/Vision VDI and Horizon 8 environments.
Troubleshoot access, sessions, apps, profiles, performance, and connectivity.
Assist end users with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 issues; manage ServiceNow tickets.
Document troubleshooting steps, communications, escalation and resolutions in ServiceNow.
Coordinate with infrastructure teams and escalate complex issues as needed.
