Job summary

Redwood Strategy Group seeks a budget analytics professional to support DoW contingency and international programs, compiling, organizing, and analyzing large budget datasets and creating dashboards for leadership briefings.

The role requires a Secret clearance, a BA/BS/BBA and a Master’s degree with years of DoD experience; onsite Pentagon work is required, with proficiency in DoW War Data Platform and Microsoft Office, plus strong writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Secret clearance.
• BA/BS/BBA degree from an accredited college/university.
• Master’s degree plus 10 years of experience – Or Additional six years of experience in a related field if no master’s.
• Willing to work onsite at the Pentagon daily.
• At least three years of experience with DoW financial management analytics and reconciliations.
• Demonstrated experience using the DoW War Data Platform (formerly Advana).
• Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with customers and managing expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide Contingency and International Program Support for real world contingencies in support of senior leadership decisions.
• Compile, organize, interpret, and analyze budget data for contingency programs with stakeholders.
• Create dashboards and summary reporting to support decision-making.
• Collect and integrate financial data and apply analytic methods to develop reports and briefings.
• Review, reconcile, and report financial data against plans, forecasts, and budgets to generate summaries.
• Coordinate and staff draft products with stakeholders to produce consolidated materials.
• Assist in development of responses for DoW budget and workload questions for OMB and Congress.
• Document financial requirements for contingency programs aligning with DoW strategic plans and integrate data into War Data Platform.
• Support submission quality checks for financial information and coordinate with agencies to resolve discrepancies.
• Identify, review potential improvements to data collection and War Data Platform functionality.
• Assist with RFIs from internal and external organizations and prepare responses.
