Job summary

Kalos Consulting, Inc. seeks an Actuarial Analyst to review, organize, and analyze data, develop actuarial models, and assess pension programs. The position involves building spreadsheets, coding checks, and documenting work while collaborating with clients to ensure data accuracy.

This onsite role requires 1+ year actuarial experience in pensions, exposure to public plans, and ProVal knowledge. A Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science is required, with two exams toward ASA and growth

Qualifications

• 1+ year actuarial experience including experience in pension benefit programs.
• Exposure to public pension plans.
• Minimum 2 exams passed and progressing towards ASA or near ASA.
• Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science or related field, required.

Responsibilities

• Review, organize, and analyze statistical data and develop actuarial models.
• Build/update spreadsheets, program and check code, document work.
• Work closely with clients and colleagues to ensure data accuracy.

Role You Will Play

• The Actuarial Analyst will review, organize, and analyze statistical data; develop and utilize actuarial models; as well as analyze various pension benefit programs, such as public pension plans or post-employment pension.
• This role will contribute to client projects through building and/or updating spreadsheets, programming and checking code, reviewing and documenting work.
• The Actuarial Analyst will work closely with clients and colleagues to ensure accuracy of data.
