Job summary

Kalos Consulting, Inc. seeks a Health Consulting Actuary to provide Health and OPEB actuarial services to multiemployer, private, and public sector clients. You will reconcile valuations, review liabilities, sample lives, and gains analyses using pricing tools and projection models.

With 4+ years of pension actuarial experience and GASB/multiemployer/public sector knowledge, you’ll communicate complex issues clearly to clients. Hybrid role across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of pension actuarial experience with proficiency in actuarial valuations including accounting reports, liability determination, funding analysis
• Expertise with Health and OPEB plans; GASB / multiemployer and/or public sector
• Working knowledge of Taft Hartley
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex actuarial issues to non-technical clients
• Preferred experience in Proval, Access, SQL, and/or JAVA
• Bachelor’s Degree and FSA or ASA – with additional exams towards FSA, required
