Job summary

Kalos Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Consulting Actuary, Health and Employee Benefits to deliver actuarial consulting services across multiemployer, private, and public sector clients.

You will reconcile valuations, analyze liabilities, and develop pricing tools and projection models while ensuring high-quality results within budget. The role offers hybrid travel within the continental US and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of pension actuarial experience with proficiency in valuations, accounting reports and funding analysis.
• Expertise in Health and OPEB plans; GASB, multiemployer and/or public sector experience.
• Working knowledge of Taft-Hartley.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for client audiences.
• Preferred experience with ProVal, Access, SQL or JAVA; professional development toward FSA.

Responsibilities

• Provide Health and OPEB actuarial consulting services to multiemployer, private, and public sector clients.
• Reconcile and review valuation results including liabilities, sample lives, gains/loss analysis, pricing tools and projection models.
• Produce high-quality results within budget and collaborate with teams.

The Role You will Play

• The Consulting Actuary, Health and Employee Benefits will provide Health and OPEB actuarial consulting services to multiemployer, private, and public sector clients.
• This role will reconcile and review valuation results including review of liabilities, sample lives, detailed gains/loss analysis, pricing tools and projection models.
• The Consulting Actuary, Health and Employee Benefits is entrusted to produce high-quality results within budget.

• Occasional travel for client meetings will be required.
