Job summary

Kalos Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join our Chicago-area team onsite. You will review and analyze statistical data, build actuarial models, and analyze pension programs including public and post-employment plans.

The role involves creating and updating spreadsheets, coding tasks, and ensuring data accuracy while collaborating with clients. Ideal candidates will have 1+ year actuarial experience, exposure to public pension plans, knowledge of ProVal, and multiple exams

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) of actuarial experience including experience in pension benefit programs.
• Exposure to public pension plans.
• Working knowledge of ProVal.
• Minimum 2 exams passed and progressing towards ASA or near ASA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science or related field, required

Responsibilities

• Review, organize, and analyze statistical data; develop and utilize actuarial models; analyze pension benefit programs (public or post-employment).
• Build/update spreadsheets, programming and checking code, documenting work.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure data accuracy.

Role You Will Play

• The Actuarial Analyst will review, organize, and analyze statistical data; develop and utilize actuarial models; as well as analyze various pension benefit programs, such as public pension plans or post-employment pension.
• This role will contribute to client projects through building and/or updating spreadsheets, programming and checking code, reviewing and documenting work.
• The Actuarial Analyst will work closely with clients and colleagues to ensure accuracy of data.
