Job summary

Northwest Administrators, Inc is seeking an Assistant Manager, Pension Accounting & Contract Review to lead the Pension Accounting and Contract department. You’ll oversee daily functions, guide staff, and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in accounting and contract review activities.

You’ll supervise supervisors and staff, review labor agreements, coordinate system updates, analyze data, and support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–3+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience overseeing accounting and contract review teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily departmental functions and develop staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review and approve labor agreements, extension agreements, and addenda for compliance.
• Coordinate system updates, releases, and procedural documentation.
• Communicate with unions and employers to resolve contract issues.
• Analyze data and prepare reports for performance tracking and decision-making.
• Support development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist senior leadership with special projects and strategic initiatives.
• Perform departmental payroll and related administrative duties.
