Scoot Education is seeking dedicated substitute teachers to support classrooms across partner schools in California. You’ll supervise students, maintain a positive learning environment, and follow lesson plans left by the classroom teacher.

As a W-2 employee, you’ll receive weekly pay, paid training, and access to benefits such as background check reimbursement and 401k enrollment after eligibility. Prior teaching experience and valid credentials are a plus, especially for special education

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree or college credits.
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor.
• State & federal background checks.
• Teaching credential/certificate or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit.
• Experience in special education settings is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities or bilingual teaching experience is a plus.

• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions, following any lesson plans left by the teacher.

Daily Pay Range:

Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long-term placements. Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.
