Job Profile Title Clinical Research Coordinator A

Job Description Summary The Penn Lifespan Informatics and Neuroimaging Center (PennLINC) is part of the Department of Psychiatry, the Neurodevelopment & Psychosis Section, and the Lifespan Brain Institute (LiBI). Our goal is to delineate normal brain maturation and understand how abnormalities of development give rise to psychiatric symptoms. The Clinical Research Coordinator will oversee the collection of MRI data from recruitment through quality assessment and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and acquire behavioral and multi‑modal MRI data.
• Perform image analysis of functional, structural, and metabolic MRI data.
• Maintain regulatory documents and correspondence.
• Assist in data analysis and manuscript preparation.
• Support independent operation (CRC‑B) while collaborating as a team member.

Qualifications

• Passion for science, superb interpersonal skills, and technical affinity.
• Educational background in Neuroscience, Psychology, or related field; or plans to pursue graduate work (psychology, neuroscience, MD/PhD).
• Experience with Unix/Linux, coding in Python, or using R is a major asset.
• Strong motivation, empathy, excellent organizational skills, and detail orientation.
• For CRC‑A: Bachelor’s degree in biomedical‑related field with 1–2 years of experience (or equivalent).
• For CRC‑B: Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years of related research/clinical study experience; experience in clinical research strongly preferred.
