Job summary

Coalfire is seeking Summer 2027 interns to support our Hex – Offensive Security team. The program runs 10 weeks, ending in August, and is a PAID internship with flexible remote or hybrid options.

We are targeting students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028. Interns will gain hands-on experience conducting security assessments, working with clients on technical security or compliance activities, and learning penetration testing, code reviews, social engineering, red team engagements,

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a cybersecurity, computer science, or related program.
• Interest in offensive security and pentesting.
• Ability to learn quickly and work on security projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting security assessments on a variety of technologies.
• Gain exposure to security and compliance activities with clients.
• Learn penetration testing, code reviews, red team engagements, and physical security assessments.
• Contribute to the Pentesting Team's success by supporting objectives.
• Support research, security documentation, and process improvement.”
