Job summary

W3Global is seeking a PEMB Construction Foreman to oversee all phases of metal building projects in the Phoenix Metro Area. The role manages field operations, coordinates crews and subcontractors, ensures safety, schedule adherence, and quality compliance.

The role requires extensive PEMB/metal building erection experience, OSHA 30, and a strong ability to lead teams in varying outdoor conditions. This is a direct-hire, on-site position in Arizona.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; construction management education preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required.
• First Aid/CPR and MSHA certifications preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all on-site PEMB erection activities.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations on site.
• Interpret PEMB shop drawings and erection drawings.
• Monitor schedules and coordinate work sequencing to milestones.
• Lead daily jobsite meetings and toolbox talks.
• Maintain daily field reports and progress logs.
• Communicate progress, delays, and resources to Project Manager.
• Oversee material deliveries, storage, and PEMB installations.
• Ensure quality control and address field deficiencies.
• Verify subcontractor scope compliance and coordinate trades.
• Manage inspections and punch list through project completion.
• Oversee PEMB steel erection, roofing, walls, and insulation.
• Work safely on ground and elevated surfaces with PPE.

A local construction company in the Phoenix Metro Area is seeking a qualified and experienced PEMB Construction Foreman to oversee all phases of metal building projects.

The PEMB Construction Superintendent manages daily field operations on Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality and contract specifications. The Superintendent serves as the primary on-site leader and liaison between field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all on-site activities for PEMB erection and related trades.
• Enforce compliance with safety policies, OSHA regulations, and project-specific safety plans.
• Interpret and communicate PEMB shop drawings, erection drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor project schedules and coordinate work sequencing to meet milestones.
• Lead daily jobsite meetings and toolbox talks.
• Maintain daily field reports and progress logs.
• Communicate with the Project Manager regarding progress, delays, and resource requirements.
• Oversee material deliveries, storage, handling, and installation of PEMB components.
• Ensure quality control standards are met and address field deficiencies.
• Verify subcontractor scope compliance and coordinate activities between trades.
• Manage inspections and punch list activities through project completion.
• Oversee PEMB steel erection, metal roofing, wall systems, and insulation installation.
• Work safely on the ground, lifts, and elevated surfaces while using required PPE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Superintendent experience in PEMB construction.
• At least 2-3 years of experience erecting PEB/metal buildings or metal cladding as a laborer, foreman, and/or superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of commercial steel erection construction and safety practices.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical or construction management education preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required.
• First Aid/CPR, MSHA (if applicable), and lift certifications preferred.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with customers and project teams.
• Comfortable working in various temperatures and outdoor environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
