Job summary

gpac LLC. is seeking an experienced PEMB Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for pre-engineered metal building projects.

The ideal candidate will understand PEMB systems, fabrication, materials, and erection processes to deliver reliable bids. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, detailing and operations; perform material and quantity takeoffs; review drawings; price materials, labor, erection, freight and subcontracted work; solicit vendor pricing; and develop

Qualifications

• 3+ years of PEMB estimating experience.
• Strong understanding of pre-engineered metal building systems.
• Experience with PEMB manufacturers, fabricators, or erectors preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Understanding of steel fabrication, materials, and erection processes.
• Strong mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and bids for PEMB projects from plans, specifications, and customer requirements
• Perform material and quantity takeoffs
• Review architectural and structural drawings
• Price materials, fabrication, labor, erection, freight, and subcontracted work
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Develop accurate project proposals and estimates
• Work with sales, engineering, detailing, and operations teams throughout the estimating process
• Identify project risks, exclusions, and potential cost impacts
• Maintain organized estimating records and meet bid deadlines
