Job summary

Southwest Building Solutions seeks a Pre-Engineered Metal Building Erector to safely assemble, install, and align PEMB components on projects across Northern Arizona. You will read drawings, operate heavy equipment, and work with a crew to meet schedules and quality standards.

This role requires physical endurance, strict safety adherence, and willingness to travel frequently, including overnight stays, in varied outdoor conditions on active construction sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and follow installation instructions.
• Comfortable working at heights while using fall protection.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as the project requires.
• Minimum six months of construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and erect pre-engineered metal building systems in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret erection plans and installation details.
• Safely operate aerial lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, telehandlers and other equipment.
• Follow safety policies, use PPE, and participate in JHAs and safety meetings.
• Maintain quality workmanship and assist with punch lists and inspections.
• Collaborate with Foremen and crew to achieve project goals.
