Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy in Tennessee is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist to join our expanding clinic network. You will evaluate patients, design individualized treatment plans and document progress in our EMR system. You will also supervise staff and contribute to program development while upholding ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in Tennessee.
• CPR certification and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with EMR systems and basic PC tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations and assess ROM, strength, posture, ambulation and daily living activities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports per facility procedures.
• Interact professionally with patients, families and staff.
• Supervise assistants and students in direct/indirect patient care.
• Ensure supervised personnel carry out treatments as outlined.
• Contribute to program development and participate in educational activities.
• Assist in outreach community events as directed by Clinic Director.
• Adhere to state regulations and APTA code of ethics.
