Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Reprocessing Operator to set up, start, and maintain the pelletizer line in our Greenfield, MA facility. You will handle forklift material movements, read production packets, and ensure pellet quality meets specs throughout each shift.

The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to learn multiple software tools (PDE database) while adhering to safety protocols. Overtime may be needed based on production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years production experience desirable.
• Experience with dies and extruders is desirable.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and data.

Responsibilities

• Set up pelletizer and start-up line within specifications.
• Operate forklift to move materials.
• Read and interpret reprocessing documentation and orders.
• Perform pre-operation safety checks and follow lock-out procedures.
• Data entry of production data into PDE database.
• Attend shift meetings and train other operators as needed.
• Load materials and prepare pallets for shipment.
