Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Reprocessing Operator to set up, start, and maintain reprocessing production machinery, ensuring adherence to customer specifications and production goals. You will support the waste stream management and work with the pelletizer line to maintain quality and efficiency.

The role requires reading and interpreting paperwork, performing safety checks, operating forklifts, and documenting material data. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• One to three years of production experience desired.
• Experience with dies and extruders is desirable.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence.
• Basic computer skills and data entry ability.

Responsibilities

• Set up pelletizer and start-up the line within specification.
• Operate forklift and move materials as needed.
• Read and interpret reprocessing paperwork and follow guidelines.
• Perform pre-operation safety checks and monitor equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of material weights and pelletization data.
