Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking a Shift Manager for Pellet Plant Operations at the Tilden site in Ishpeming, MI. This role provides management oversight of an iron ore processing and pelletizing facility.

Key responsibilities include safety, environmental compliance, quality control, and leading a unionized workforce. The position requires 1–3 years in industrial processing and a 2-year technical degree, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

1–3 years’ experience in a mineral or industrial processing facility.
2-year technical degree is required.
Computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Competent communication skills both oral & written.
Skilled in resolving day-to-day questions/problems regarding equipment, materials, methods and procedures.
Good problem-solving skills and a sound knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.

Provide positive leadership in a unionized, heavy industrial setting.
Direct crewmembers and ensure compliance to assigned work.

Provide proper resources to enable work and maintain continuous operation.
Communicate with plant operators, plant repairmen, engineering and management staff to achieve goals.
Perform other duties as needed.
