Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is seeking a Shift Manager Pellet Plant Operations at our Tilden site in Ishpeming, MI to oversee iron ore processing and pelletizing activities. The role emphasizes safety, environmental compliance, quality control, and strong leadership in a unionized, heavy industrial setting.

The successful candidate will direct crews, coordinate resources, and maintain continuous operation while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of plant operators and engineers.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in a mineral or industrial processing facility.
• Competent communication skills both oral & written.
• Sound knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• Problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety as a core value that will not be compromised.
• Ensure operation is compliant with environmental standards.
• Ensure operation meets product quality requirements.
• Provide leadership in a unionized, heavy industrial setting.
• Direct crewmembers and ensure adherence to assigned work.
• Prioritize mechanical and electrical break-in work during the shift.
