PelletMill Operator
Full-time, Permanent
On-site
Location: Urania, LA

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring the operation of pellet mills, hammer mills, and related equipment to ensure production quality and address issues promptly.
• Following standard operating procedures for start-up, shutdown, and normal operations.
• Maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.
• Performing basic maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
• Demonstrating a commitment to safety and safe behaviors.
• Solving problems logically, safely, and confidently.
• Communicating effectively within and outside the business unit.
• Completing logs and records of plant checks.
• Covering other positions as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Operating equipment to control systems.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting damages or mechanical issues.
• Recording operational data from meters and gauges.
• Performing physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Understanding risks and following safety procedures to avoid hazards.
