Qualifications

Job description

Design, develop, code, and test complex technical solutions
Investigate and resolve complex application and system technical problems and production issues through troubleshooting techniques
Improve operations by conducting complex systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures
Prepare and install complex solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming
Follow the software development lifecycle
Participate in design reviews and learn key system design principles
Mentor junior engineers and may begin mentoring peer engineers
Review teammates' code
Identify, measure, monitor, and control risks associated with business activities in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures
Develop, configure, test, and maintain solutions for the Complaints Pega application supporting complaint processes across Bank, Life, Property and Casualty, and Member Relation

Requirements

4 years of software development experience specific to Pega Development
2 years of experience delivering technology solutions in all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle
CSSA Certification
Basic understanding of one or more of Java, Go, SQL, or Pega
Knowledge and understanding of troubleshooting applications and systems within production issues
Ability to quickly understand applicable business acumen to provide appropriate Engineering solutions
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
Basic understanding of cloud technologies and tools
Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship, including H-1B, TN, or STEM OPT Training Plans
