Sky Solutions LLC in Tysons Corner, VA is seeking a Pega Senior Software Developer (CSSA) to lead design and implementation of scalable Pega-based solutions. You will translate complex requirements into robust software, drive performance, and ensure compliance with federal security standards.

As a senior architect, you will mentor teams, conduct code reviews, coordinate with the Pega vendor, and shape IT strategy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT leadership, architecture, Java and Pega expertise.
• Certified Senior System Architect is required.
• BS in Computer Science is required.
• Strong understanding of software development processes.

Role

Senior Software Developer, Pega Applications: The senior software developer will develop and maintain robust system level software, ensuring the performance and scalability of backend systems during the contract period. As key personnel the developer will be fully dedicated to the project objectives. Translate detailed design into computer software. Test, debug, and refine the computer software to produce the required product. Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.

Minimum Experience

• Provide technical leadership as a Pega Senior System Architect (SSA), ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• Define IT strategies and manage infrastructure to meet organizational objectives
• Lead teams in system design, deployment, and performance optimization
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and information security protocols
• Provide guidance on best practices, coding standards, and development framework
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
• Evaluate emerging technologies for potential integration
• Collaborate with leadership to align IT strategies with business goals
• Coordinate with Pega vendor with Service Requests and their resolution
• Manage Pega platform level 508 defects and their plan for their resolution
• Advocate for reusable design patterns and components that can be leveraged across applications

Minimum Education /Certifications

• 10 years of experience in IT leadership, architecture, specializing in Java and Pega Strong knowledge of front/backend development, Java, Pega and workflows
• Certified as a Senior System Architect is required
• Proficiency in Java, Pega, and workflow-based solutions A Bachelor of Science (BS) in computer science (CS) field is required.
• Strong understanding of software development processes
• Ability to work within contract deadlines and deliverables
• A Bachelor of Science (BS) in computer science (CS) field is required.
