Job summary

Veriipro in Worcester, MA is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Pega Constellation and Pega 24. You will translate technical designs into scalable solutions and mentor junior developers.

As a technical lead, you will guide implementation, perform code reviews, enforce best practices, collaborate with project managers, QA, and stakeholders, support DevOps, and ensure timely delivery across the full SDLC.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience developing enterprise web applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Pega 24 and Pega Constellation.
  • Experience with Constellation SDKs and custom component development.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, and OO programming principles.
  • Experience with Tomcat, DevOps tools, Agile methodologies, and software development best practices.
  • Understanding of source control, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and application deployment.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Pega CLSA or other Pega certifications.
  • Experience with UX design principles and responsive web applications.
  • Experience leading development teams and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Knowledge of enterprise software architecture and large‑scale application delivery.
