Job description

Join to apply for the Peer to Peer Fundraising Officer role at 4KIDS.

Do you want a meaningful career advocating for children in crisis through your work in fundraising? The ideal candidate will be a Peer to Peer fundraising specialist with a passion for raising funds and awareness for our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the peer-to-peer online fundraising platforms
• Oversee the National Foster Care Month #GoBlue4KIDS partner engagement initiative
• Recruit community partners, develop strategy, build new relationships, and engage/cultivate current partners
• Host community presentations and outreach activities
• Support corporate partnerships team to grow and expand corporate fundraising partnerships
• Develop a fundraising Walk 4KIDS program
• Partner with the church engagement team in making presentations and hosting booths promoting fundraising initiatives and events
• Manage quarterly Vision Tours
• Evaluate the performance of events, analyze results and report against budget targets
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote peer to peer fundraising campaigns

Requirements:

• Proven experience in stewarding event funding through peer-to-peer fundraising events
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred
• 2 years' experience in fundraising, sales, or donor relations
• Availability to travel to specific evening and/or weekend events as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport
• Understanding of 4KIDS' mission, values, and programs and the impact these programs on children and families in crisis
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to use/learn online platforms
• Proficiency in fundraising software and tools
